Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Give Presentations: Work with one of our partner shelters to educate migrants on healthcare topics, legal rights, and available resources.

  • Provide Support: Assist individuals and families in navigating healthcare options, addressing concerns, and accessing services.

  • Uphold Our Mission: Maintain a kind, compassionate approach to ensure every person feels respected and understood.

Requirements

  • A warm, welcoming attitude and genuine desire to help others.

  • Ability to speak clearly and confidently when presenting information.

  • Commitment to learning about healthcare disparities and how to address them.

  • Experience or willingness to complete training on the MAT patient assistance portal.

  • Completion of a standard background check.
